Inauguration of Cloud Practitioner Batch 6 and Farewell Programme for DCOM Students
A combined Inauguration Ceremony of Cloud Practitioner Batch 6 and Farewell Programme for the DCOM students was conducted with great enthusiasm and participation. The event brought together students, faculty and staff in a meaningful blend of celebration, reflection and new beginnings.
The programme opened with the Lighting of the Lamp, representing knowledge, guidance and the start of a new academic journey for the incoming batch. This was followed by the Welcome Speech by Fr. Eugene Florence (Director), who set the tone for the occasion by appreciating the efforts of both the outgoing and incoming students while encouraging them to continue striving toward excellence.
A melodious song by Gillta from CC5 created a warm and uplifting atmosphere. The energy continued with an engaging dance performance by the F&B students, adding vibrance to the programme.
The presentation by the DCOM students highlighted their learning experiences, achievements and growth throughout their course. Following this, a soothing duet song by the F&B team further enriched the cultural segment of the event.
Students from CC5 then delivered a dynamic dance performance, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm.
An emotional and reflective moment unfolded during the experience sharing by Rinto Kurian from DCOM, who spoke about his journey, challenges and memorable moments. This was followed by a video presentation by the DCOM students, capturing their activities and milestones throughout the programme.
To honour the outgoing batch, gifts were distributed to the DCOM students, appreciating their dedication, discipline and successful completion of the course.
The formal segment concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by John from DCOM, acknowledging the Director, faculty, staff and students for their unwavering support.
The event closed with a joyful Photo Session, capturing the spirit of unity and celebration, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony for the birthday of Niveditha Ma’am, adding a heartfelt and joyful end to the programme.
