[Bangalore, 03-Feb-2025] – Accenture India and Marriott International, in collaboration with Don Bosco Tech Society, have come together to launch a hospitality training program aimed at empowering 2,475 underprivileged youth across 11 states and 14 districts. This initiative focuses on equipping young individuals, especially women, from disadvantaged backgrounds with the necessary skills and opportunities to build sustainable careers in the hospitality sector.
The program was officially inaugurated at Don Bosco Skill Mission, Bangalore, marking a significant milestone in bridging the skill gap in the industry. The event was graced by esteemed industry leaders:

- Ajay Vij – Senior Country Managing Director, Accenture India
- Kicha Ramamurthy – Senior Managing director & Director of Delivery for advanced technology centers, Accenture India

The ceremony commenced with a welcome address by Fr. George Mathew, Executive Director, Don Bosco Tech Society, followed by a welcome song performed by the students of Don Bosco Skill Mission, featuring the Don Bosco Tech Anthem, and an energetic dance performance.
This MoU signing between Marriott International, Accenture, and Don Bosco Tech Society signifies a major step toward bridging the skill gap in the hospitality sector. The program is designed to equip participants with industry-relevant skills and hands-on experience, preparing them for entry-level roles in the hospitality industry.
