Don Bosco Skill Mission had the privilege of participating in the Tech Developer Confluence – Code for the Next Billion, the inaugural edition of Confluence #FutureForge 24-25 (#NASSCOM2025), organized by NASSCOM FutureSkills. The event brought together industry leaders, technology experts, and developers to explore innovations in AI, Cybersecurity, DevOps, and Cloud, and was complemented by a high-impact hackathon.
The sessions were highly engaging, offering deep insights into emerging trends and practical applications. Notable speakers included Karan M.V (GitHub), who spoke on AI adoption and the role of GitHub Copilot in accelerating software development; Vashanthi Ramesh (NetApp), who shared innovations in AI for healthcare and cloud-based AI governance; Ali, who discussed advanced AI-driven DevOps automation; and Vybhava Srinivas, who highlighted the potential of agentic AI for next-generation problem solving.
Key takeaways from the sessions included the evolution of AI from pre-training models to reasoning and planning capabilities, the integration of AI into the software development lifecycle—planning, coding, verifying, deploying, and operating—, and its applications in healthcare, cloud computing, and DevOps automation. The importance of context engineering and prompt design for reliable Generative AI (GenAI) solutions was emphasized, along with the need to embrace AI tools, upskill continuously, and design careers aligned with the AI-driven era.
The associated hackathon featured the Inaya.ai challenge, “Deidentification of Linked Visual Data,” which emphasized responsible AI use and data privacy. Participants were encouraged to develop solutions framed around industry-relevant use cases, design structured agent flows, test edge cases to ensure robustness, and optimize output tone for clarity and compliance. This format encouraged innovative thinking and practical application of AI concepts.
Participation in the Tech Developer Confluence provided an invaluable platform to connect with industry leaders, witness live demonstrations of cutting-edge technologies, strengthen technical skills, and gain confidence to contribute to India’s AI-driven future.
