On 31 July 2025, the Electric Vehicle Charging Station course students (Batch 250146) had the exciting opportunity to participate in a placement drive at Ather Energy Ltd., located near Hosur. The visit opened a window into the fast-growing world of electric mobility, where innovation, sustainability, and hands-on expertise come together to shape the future of transportation.
A total of 22 students took part in the interview process for production roles at Ather’s advanced vehicle manufacturing unit. The selection process was more than just an evaluation—it was a real-world learning experience. Candidates were challenged on their understanding of core EV technologies, their ability to apply hands-on skills, and their awareness of safety practices that are crucial in both EV charging infrastructure and assembly lines. For many, it was the first time they witnessed how their classroom knowledge connected directly to industry needs.
By the end of the day, 15 students were selected to join Ather’s production department, marking a proud moment not just for them but for Don Bosco Tech as well. The event offered all participants a valuable glimpse into the precision, discipline, and innovation that define careers in the electric mobility sector.
