On 22 January 2025, Don Bosco Tech Society hosted an enriching guest lecture for EVCS students, led by the Schneider team, with the aim of deepening students’ understanding of electricity while reinforcing the critical importance of electrical safety. The session was thoughtfully designed to bridge classroom learning with real-world applications, making complex concepts both accessible and exciting.
The session was conducted by Ms. Prathiba, JTO, Government ITI, Kolar, and Mr. Purushotham, JTO, Government ITI, Kolar. Drawing from their extensive technical experience, the resource persons brought energy, clarity, and practical insight into the classroom. Their active involvement and approachable teaching style created an environment where students felt encouraged to ask questions and explore concepts beyond textbooks.
The lecture covered essential safety rules in electricity, highlighting the responsibilities and precautions required when working with electrical systems. Students were introduced to fundamental terms used in electricity and electronics, building a strong conceptual foundation. Another key focus was the conversion of energy from one form to another, explained through relatable examples that connected theory to everyday life.
