On 19 December 2025, Don Bosco Skill Mission, in collaboration with the Wadhwani Foundation, organized an engaging and insightful guest lecture at Mother Teresa Hall with the aim of enhancing students’ employability and equipping them to face real-world professional challenges with confidence. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and served as a valuable platform to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.

The session was led by Mr. Prosenjith, who acted as the resource person and offered an in-depth introduction to the Wadhwani Foundation and its vision of empowering youth through industry-relevant skill development. He provided a clear overview of the Wadhwani program structure, helping students understand how the platform supports them from foundational learning to placement readiness. His explanation highlighted the importance of structured, goal-oriented learning and how such initiatives play a vital role in shaping successful career pathways.

Mr. Prosenjith further elaborated on the course framework, learning modules, assessment strategies, and placement preparation processes integrated within the Wadhwani ecosystem. A key highlight of the session was the introduction of AI-enabled tools such as My Tutor and Interview Coach. These tools were presented as innovative learning companions that offer personalized guidance, continuous self-evaluation, and realistic interview simulations. Students gained valuable insights into how these resources can help them identify strengths, address skill gaps, and build confidence through repeated practice. He also shed light on the collaborative model between the Wadhwani Foundation and training institutions, emphasizing how this partnership ensures industry-aligned exposure, mentorship, and career-focused preparation.

A major focus of the lecture was on the critical role of employability skills, often referred to as soft skills, in today’s highly competitive job market. Mr. Prosenjith stressed that effective communication, professional attitude, confidence, and interpersonal skills are decisive factors during interviews and workplace interactions. He encouraged students to consciously develop these skills alongside technical competencies, emphasizing that employability is built through consistent practice and self-improvement.

The session concluded on an inspiring note, motivating students to take ownership of their personal and professional growth. The guest lecture proved to be both informative and impactful, reinforcing the message that confidence, communication, and preparedness are essential pillars for achieving sustainable employment and long-term career success.
