Don Bosco Skill Mission, Bangalore celebrated Children’s Day with creativity, teamwork, and joyful participation. The day began with a “Food Without Fire” competition, where students were divided into ten groups of ten members each. They prepared a variety of innovative dishes using ingredients purchased from nearby shops. The event was judged by representatives from the National, Regional, and State Teams, who evaluated the dishes based on creativity, presentation, and taste.
The formal program that followed featured a warm welcome by the MCs, Ms. Steffi and Ms. Puja, and a Welcome Speech by Ms. Ashwini. Fr. Eugene Florence, Director, delivered an inspiring address that highlighted the value and potential of every child. The celebration included a soulful song by Br. Barnabas Khriam, a lively dance by Vinod and his team, and a prize distribution ceremony recognising student achievements. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Silvanus Nongdhar.
After the program, staff and students shared lunch together and continued the celebration with volleyball and throwball matches, with both students and staff actively participating.
The 2025 Children’s Day celebration was a joyful and meaningful event, strengthening unity, creativity, and community spirit across the campus.
